White box with red x in emails

Posted by admin on Dec 2nd, 2006

I am getting emails but they have a white box with a red x in the upper left corner and I can't see images. How do I get rid of this?

Click the yellow bar where it says "Click here to download pictures".If don't want to do that on an asappropriate basis, and just want to download all pictures, choose Tools > Options, click the Security tab, and clear the checkmark from the Block images… option. If you want to allow all attachments through, clear the checkmark from the "Do not allow attachments…" checkbox as well.Click OK. I don't know anything about that. If you haven't already done so, post to the microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop NG. Tell them you're using Vista (but the Vista people sent you there ;) Check back here too because someone else might know. "Kelly"
