Web Page Will Not Print
Posted by admin on May 22nd, 2007
I am having a slight problem with printing any thing from a web page. I am able to print email msgs and the like, but not from an internet web page. The printer icon symbol appears at the bottom but has no documents in the queue. I have tried a few trouble shooting techniques with no change in results. I do not have "Use Printer Offline" checked. Using Vista Business edition. I am wondering if there is a problem in the registry keys area that might be causing the problem. This novice cannot locate the specific area to turn on the printer communications link to the web page. Any ideas.Regards, Bill

I have visited with HP (there online chat) and spent almost an hour attemtping to correct this problem prior to posting in this forum. We went thru several troubleshooting techniques. After all was said and done, the problem still existed. Just to let you know, when I want to print a web page, this is what happens: hit the print icon and the printer icon will appear at the bottom right on the toolbar with "0" documents pending. The icon stays for a short period of time and then disappears. When I finished with the HP tech, she indicated to me that windows vista would be coming out with new drivers to correct this problem very soon. This is why I posted in this forum. However, I will try again with HP. Will let you know. Regards, Bill "Cari (MSMVP)" wrote:
