Vista e-mail/address book

Posted by admin on Jan 14th, 2007

Hi to oneandall: I've got a small problem with Windows Mail: When I right click an entry in the address book and select "send mail" as an action, I get a message that says "an error occurred while attempting to invoke the default email program". As usual, any assistance will be greatly appreciated. PBL

"Powell" Is Windows Mail set as the Default email client?Tools | Options | General tab At the bottom, see if it is showing as default. Also, in Control Panel Default programs Set your default programs Windows Mailthen there is also in the same Default Programs Set program access and computer defaults Select Custom I don't know if the /reg command line will work or not so I'll leave it as the above.

Thank you very much for the reply. It worked like a charm. I haven't looked at the rating thing, but it's pretty hard to beat something that works like it is supposed to with such an easy fix. Top marks Mr./Ms. DGuess. PBL "DGuess" wrote:
