User setting forgotten

I have just done a clean install of Vista U, including formatting the HD. I have installed ffice 2003, and done online update on both. I added the computer to the domain, logged in and setup up my Outlook account and my Desktop. The problem occurs when I log out and log back in Vista has "forgotten" all my settings. My desktop is back to default, when I start Outlook it start the first time installation process again.I have tried this several times, I have even started from scratch and reinstalled Vista and Office and get the same results.Marv
