ATI has not released any Vista drivers with build in software encoding for their AIW cards for Vista as you have found. Nor have the said that they absolutly will and if they will when that will be. If they do I expect it is serveral months before they do since they are currently spending all thier R&D effor on trying to get good performace with all of their graphics cards with Vista. "Sean"
