The problem is my computer runs about 70100+ system processes all at the same time(normally it ran about 25). The majority of these is SVCHOST.exe, I know this is a required system process, but 15 of them run 5mb 50mb of RAM each. This causes about 600800mb of my RAM to be used constantly. This problem has only been around for about 5 days. I ran a System Restore, and the problem is still occurring. I run Windows Vista, 1gb of RAM on an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. How do I resolve this problem so I can have the majority of my RAM free?
