"frad" Office 2007 breaks OE's spullchuck.See:After installing Office 2007 RTM, you don’t have English as a choice of language in the spell checker of Outlook Express and potentially other programs. pschmid.net/blog/2006/11/13/80Your best option is to get a free spullchucker from one of the following sites:Vampirefo: majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2952TinySpell: tinyspell.m6.net/

ok: Go into your Windows Mail Click on the "Tools" menu drop down and select: options A new window appears. Select the "Spelling" tab"Always check spelling before sending: TICK (the following options are up to you but i have mine set as follows):"Words in UPPERCASE: do NOT tick. I normally tick the remaining 3. MKAE SURE you have the language set to : ENGLISHWhen done: Click "Apply" (first) then click"OK" (on the same screen)That should do it."frad" wrote:

Outlook Express is not available in Vista for Office 2007 to break. 'Chuck' your facts. That's the problem with blog posts from 4 or more months ago. Maxwell Bluemeanie " mac"

Try selecting a different spelling language, apply, then select English, apply. (Tools, Options, Spelling)Gary VanderMolen"frad"

I resolved this problem by opening Tools, Spelling, and clicking Apply. Spelling worked after that. However, i did read in Vista for Dummies that spellcheck will not work unless you have Office installed. I clicked the apply aftrer I had already installed office. Microsoft Works also has a spell check so maybe my solution would work if you have Works. Elsie Elsie "frad" wrote:

"Elsie" That is not correct. Unlike Outlook Express, Windows Mail comes with its own spelling dictionary. I have one Vista computer with no programs installed on it yet, and Windows Mail spellcheck works fine on it. Gary VanderMolen
