I have tried to set up a new account for mail but it defaults to hotmail then tels me i cannot use http mail account. any ideas what i am doing wrong Thx Mike

When you are setting up the mail account (Tools, Accounts, Add...), what are you putting in the fields for incoming mail server and outgoing mail server?Gary VanderMolen"Mike" <Mike @discussions.microsoft.com>

Good catch, Rob! If the OP was filling in any @hotmail. com or @msn.com email address, the Add Account wizard balks and refuses to go on.Mike, you have to put in your ISPassigned email address. Looks like for you that would be [something]@ntli.net.Gary VanderMolen"Rob"
