Set association

Posted by admin on Jun 12th, 2006

My operating system is now Vista. I am learning to use Windows Mail. When attempting to open an email with pictures attached (jpeg), I am unable to do so because I have to Create an association in the Set Associations control panel. Where do I find the Set Associations control panel?

"rossclan" The .doc listings have nothing to do with it. Save a JPG to your desktop. Right click it and choose Open With. Click Choose the default program. Click the one you want. Make sure "Always use the selected ..." is checked. Click OK Frank Saunders, MSMVP OE/WM Do not send mail.

Somehow (?) the .doc type got associated with Acrobat Reader.
