receiving web mail

Posted by admin on Jan 29th, 2007

I signed onto a site and was asked for pop3 info and server name info. Don't laugh but I entered www.pop3.com an svrt.pop3.com. Ok, what do i do now? Where do i get the correct info and where do i go to correct it?

"lostnjax" That information should be on their site. There are way too many POP3, IMAP and HTTP mail servers to keep up with. You can't just enter in anything you want.To set up an account, Tools | Accounts | Add button. Enter in the data (username, password, POP3 and SMTP servers. If it's web based only, you'll have to see if it's compatible with Windows Mail.
