drybones, most will work. If not change the compatability mode on the game shortcut.Check out 'Vista Ready Games' (vistareadygames.com/) as well as your games might be mentioned. networx Posted via vistaheads.com

Not sure what video card you have, but NVIDIA drivers are still an issue on some games. Some have no problems, others have a lot. Make sure you grab the newest drivers as soon as you finish your install. If you have an ATI card, it should all be good. I know Oblivion works like a charm! Also, vistareadygames.com is compiling a forum of what works and what doesn't. You can ask there if your game isn't listed. Hi,I did forget to mention that I am running NVIDIA 7800 GTX in SLI\and the machine has 4GB of DDR 2 SDRAM Memory. Also as I am (at 78 years) primarily a gamer so "think" Vista Home is best for what I should want and still get the gaming experience when new games are available for Vista. Thanks for reading and replying, drybones"Dustin Harper"

well, your have a nice hardware config, but it's teh SLI mode that Vista has had the most trouble. In their latest Beta build of drivers, they just added some SLI support. So with it steal being in beta, your mileage may vary.As a gamer (half your age and so a lot less patients) I would recommend sticking with XP for as long as you can.I still think it will be a good 6 months, before the DX10 games are in full stride and I suspect games like Crysis and BIOshock are going to have some growing pains as well. So Sticking with Xp another 46 months might save you some headaches.I'm playing around both with the 32bit and 64 bit flavor of vista, and at best Vista runs just a smidge behind XP. On OpenGL games like Doom3, it runs about 2535fps slower. Though with your hardware, you won't feel it so I guess it doesn't matter. "drybones"
