nfs carbon not playing in vista

I just tried to run EA's Need for speed carbon on my Vista rig...The message comes up " Please install correct cd or dvd " I have tried compatibility mode as well as disable themes even tried other parts of compatibility mode and no such luck...Other games play no problem in either DVD drive.....Any ideas ??Running Vista business amd 3200 64 bit 2 gigs ddr500 pci 7900 gs Nvidia card 2 160 gig sata drives in raid0Thanks for any help Drew

drew, i had the same exact problem with my computer. i am running vista home premium. what i did is changed the compatibility to Windows 98/ME. i see that u said you tried that. did u try exactly Windows 98/ME? It worked for me and now i have no problem at all."Drew" wrote:
