"mayra" What ISP do you use to connect to the Internet. Got to their web pages and check the Support sections. In there, they will have help on what server settings to use for all email programs.Hotmail is no longer supported in Windows Mail.It is supported in Windows Live Mail desktop ideas.live.com

It's all in the name of progress. :) Bottom line is that if you don't like Vista you can stay with XP.Gary VanderMolen"marla"

"marla" Outlook Express's ghost is still there. Windows Mail is based upon it's code. Of course a lot of things were ripped out of it like Hotmail support and Identities but the dx file corruption is a thing of the past, they changed the message stores and that in itself has it's own quirks. You just have to use Vista and get used to it. It takes some time.I remember similar shouts o when XP came out..

My comment was tongueincheek. Sometimes you have to take the bad with the good. Let's hope that Service Pack 1 will fix all the Vista problems.Gary VanderMolen"marla"
