New Message - Unicode (UTF-8)
Posted by admin on Sep 22nd, 2006
When I try to create a new message (email), it defaults to "New Message Unicode (UTF8)". This has only just started happening. How can I go back to 'normal' New Message? I have checked all the 'tools' settings and I can't fins a solution. Does anyone know why this suddenly started happening, and is there a simple solution? Thanx. Gary McGeorge gazmcg@gmail.com

"GaryMcG" Tools | Options | Send tab | International Settings button.Change it there and see if it corrects it.

Thanks "DGuess", but that was one of the first 'ports of call'. The International Setting is set at "Western European (ISO)". Any other suggestions, before I have to resort to ' MS Outlook'? Gary McGeorge gazmcg@gmail.com "DGuess"

"GaryMcG" Only two places I can think of in Windows Mail is the Send and receive tabs.

You said you had already set it in Tools Options Read International Settings (if that what send and receive tabs mean) which is where the default is set. "DGuess"

Thank you all for trying to help. When I changed from "stationery" to "none", that's when the problems started. I've finally sorted it out. Thanks again. Gary McGeorge gazmcg@iinet.net.au "Frank Saunders, MSMVP OE/WM"
