Microsoft Pinball Almost Golden in Vista
Posted by admin on Jul 7th, 2006
I got MS PInball running in Vista but I get a nagging VIDS:IV50 decompressor error on startup. Tried installing the Indeo drivers (5.11) to no effect. Is there an updated driver or other solution for this nit? Also, I hope MS puts out an update to the game on it's Ultimate Extra's with some new tables.

You mean Pinball as in XP Games? I transferred mine over and it works just fine. Peter Toronto, Canada XP Pro SP2 x 2 + Vista Ultimate P4 HT @ 3.00ghz, 4.0gb RAM, 700gb HDD"IceHockeyJason"

John you can just copy Pinball from XP to Vista and creat a shortcut in the Start menu. I'll try sending it to you. Peter Toronto, Canada XP Pro SP2 x 2 + Vista Ultimate P4 HT @ 3.00ghz, 4.0gb RAM, 700gb HDD"John"

Yes, exactly with the classic boards such as Baffle Ball and Cue Ball wizard. Anybody else getting the decompressor error on startup?
