Mail cannot open message, not enough memory

Posted by admin on Sep 1st, 2006

I received this error message just now, used the Task Manager to close the program and restared it with no problems. Mail opened the message it couldn't moments before. I have 2 gigs of ram, 320 gig hard drive, nVidia 7300 video card. Is there a setting I can adjust to alocate more memory to the my mail program? I have less than three hundred messages in all folders, including deleted and sent. Is it a memory problem or something else?

"dev" Hi Dev, thank you for the reply. I just did remove all messages and headers, Mail says my database is 118 mb, is that a lot? It didn't go down when I cleaned it up.I will read the help and support right away.
