Java & Game Problems

I have read almost every post here, but so far nothing has helped. I have IE7 which worked great until I installed Vista. At first, I couldn't get any Pogo games to download. After uninstalling and reinstalling Sun Jave a gazillion times and trying other suggestions from Pogo, I installed MS Java and finally can get the games, but can't really play because they keep sticking. From what I havve read, uninstalling either one or the other might help but is not likely to happen. I tried to uninstall IE7, but it wasn't listed on my program list. Can anyone please help me?
