Fresh Install of Vista Ate Poor Otto!

Posted by admin on Jun 16th, 2007

I had Windows XP Media Center Edition and upgraded to Vista. When I upgraded I did a "clean install" which, I suppose, wipped my hard drive. Now, the games that were a part of media Center 2005, Otto's Magic Blocks and soem others aren't on my machine. My kids LOVE Otto and I am hoping there is a way to get it back.Any ideas?

Thanks! But it still irks me that things I paid for and already owned are rendered null. Oh well, gotta take the good with the bad I suppose. :("Richard Urban" wrote:

I just did an "Upgrade Install" from Mediacentre to Vista and although I still have OTTO (and Gemmaster) neither of these games now work. Otto starts to load then says "game already started use back to resume". Gemmaster just freezes. I did try the "trial version" from the yahoo site but it didn't work either and didn't appear to be a Windows Media centre version anyway. I have had no luck in finding any resolution to this. Did your new downloaded version work ? "ivnurse" wrote:
