emailing photos with vista

I am having difficulty in emailing photos using Vista. Full sized digital photos will send, but those resized for emailing will not go. No error messages are received. I have even turned off my firewall in an attempt to solve the problem. I am having a similar and maybe related problem with a Kodak EasyShare program running on vista. I do get an error message there: "Unable to connect with Kodak server."
