Does "Restore previous versions" work with CompletePC Backup

If I turn off System Restore on all drives, will "Restore previous versions" still work.If so, does "Restore previous versions" also take previous files and folders from a CompletePC Backup?

From Help and Support.Previous versions are either backup copiescopies of files and folders that you back up by using the Back Up Files wizard, or shadow copiescopies of files and folders that Windows automatically saves as part of a restore point.For more information, right click any file or folder, select the Previous Versions Tab and click the "How do I use previous versions" link.
