Current View list

Posted by admin on Dec 21st, 2006

Observation: The current view in OE was separate between newsgroups and mail account. In Win mail, there seems to be only one view that once selected applies to all accounts. That is with OE, in mail you could select 'show all messages' while in any news account select 'hide read messages'. I got accustomed to that feel and often used different views between news and mail accounts.Oppie

I use Hide Read Messages in news, and Show All in mail. Works fine in my WinMail.Gary VanderMolen"Oppie"

Perhaps my issue stems from creating a new 'define views' for "show watched messages" I use this to find messages I have flagged to easily find later. I had done the same thing with OE and the new view was at the bottom of the list. Here it is at the top of the list and it may think that it is the default action. The toolbar list is in this order Show Watched Messages Show downloaded Messages Show All messages Hide Read or ignored messages Hide Read MessagesJust a curious behavior that I would not expect.
