Command line switch

Posted by admin on Apr 8th, 2007

I was using the below mentioned command line for opening "New mail message window from my applicationmailto:test@xyz.com?subject=test&attach=""C:\File.txt""When i tested the above in Vista and windows mail. It does bring the new message window with subject as "test" however the file is not attached in the dialog. what could have gone wrong ?I suspect it could be a security issue but could not figure out further. Any thoughts ?UAC is turned on.I tried with turning it off but does not seem to take an effect.Regards Murali

I have XP machines with both Outlook 2003 and 2007 and it does NOT work on either one; I get a "Command line argument is not valid'' error message.Hal Hal Hostetler, CPBE hhh@kvoa.com Senior Engineer/MIS MS MVP Print /Imaging WA7BGX kvoa.com "When News breaks, we fix it!"
