Can you move the .contact file to another directory? If you can't delete it from the folder maybe you can move it out of there.steve"ferretman" every time I try to delete an unwanted contact to the contact folder I get the following errorexplorer has stopped workingdetailsProblem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: explorer.exe Application Version: 6.0.6000.16386 Application Timestamp: 4549b091 Fault Module Name: MFC42.DLL Fault Module Version: 6.6.8063.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 4549bd07 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00038ed0 OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3 Locale ID: 4105 Additional Information 1: 8d13 Additional Information 2: cdca9b1d21d12b77d84f02df48e34311 Additional Information 3: 8d13 Additional Information 4: cdca9b1d21d12b77d84f02df48e34311it is the same every time the only way I have found to delete them it go to a command prompt and go to c:\user\"account name"\contactthe typing del "contact name".contactI am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit upgrade on Toshiba notebookany idea of a fix?? Thanks, I have been trying to figure this out for weeks. Moving file, opening through start programs and using each display option has not worked. I still get the same error but drag and drop worked. I think it is a Vista 32 bit and win mail issue nothing the user can do. I want to know when Microsoft is going to fix it. :)"Flash72UK" wrote:
