Adresses visible to all

Posted by admin on Aug 23rd, 2006

When I forward email to several people which I add by using the to or cc feature the names appear in the boxes with their email addresses. I do not like to have other's email address visible for others to see. I hate to be passing it along. When I used the cc feature in OE the address did not appear. Is there a way to have this happen with Windows mail? marroy

The only way to keep the addresses private from each other is to use Bcc which stands for Blind Carbon Copy. If you don't see the Bcc field in your message compose window, click on View and select All Headers. That setting is sticky, meaning it will still be there the next time you start the mail program.Gary VanderMolen "marroy"

What I'm trying to figure out is when I send an email and put my name in the TO: box and then all others in the BCC: box when I go to my SENT folder, I would like to remember the BCC recipients I sent to and want to see their email names. Any ideas of how to do this? Thanks. Just me "Gary VanderMolen" wrote:

"SusieQ" Go to the Sent Items. Open the email you are interested in. Click the View tab. Select "Show All Headers"You will then seen all the recipients regardless of them being BCC.
