Hi,I have been playing about with Vista Home for the first time this weekend. I have got the 64bit version with 2G of Ram and over 100Gig of hard drive free. With nothing running at all apart from the OS, the CPU usage is at 60%+ If I try running any programes like fireworks or iTunes i may as well be back using Windows 3.1 it's just that slow. Can anyone help me try and find out what might be making it run so slow?System Info:More details about my computer Component Details Subscore Base score Processor AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+ 3.9 2.9 Determined by lowest subscore Memory (RAM) 2.00 GB 2.9 Graphics RADEON 9600 Series (Microsoft Corporation WDDM) 3.6 Gaming graphics 255 MB Total available graphics memory 3.4 Primary hard disk 140GB Free (184GB Total) 5.3 Windows Vista (TM) Home Premium System Manufacturer Tiny Computers Model MS6741 Total amount of system memory 2.00 GB RAM System type 64bit operating system Number of processor cores 1 Storage Total size of hard disk(s) 295 GB Disk partition (C:) 140 GB Free (184 GB Total) Media drive (D:) CD/DVD Media drive (E:) CD/DVDCD/DVD Disk partition (F:) 61 GB Free (112 GB Total) Graphics Display adapter type RADEON 9600 Series (Microsoft Corporation WDDM) Total available graphics memory 255 MB Dedicated graphics memory 128 MB Dedicated system memory 0 MB Shared system memory 127 MB Display adapter driver version 7.14.10.8333 Primary monitor resolution 1280x1024 DirectX version DirectX 9.0 or better Network Network Adapter NETGEAR WN121T Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter Network Adapter Microsoft Tun Miniport Adapter

I may be on the wrong line, but those 9600SE cards were in the main faulty something like 65% failure rate because they were purchased untested from Sapphire (who simply added 10% to the delivery quantity to allow for any failures) Sapphire didn't quality check them, nor did Granville Try another graphics card and see if that cures anything Demdike
